Ny Wants Assange

Court order imminent.

Get It

Try It

STOCKHOLM (Rixstep) — The long stone-turning gestation period is over. Elusive Swedish prosecutor Marianne Ny now says she wants to meet with Julian Assange to discuss rape charges and she's willing to get an international arrest order to do it.

'That's a bit thin', says solicitor Björn Hurtig.

'I request the District Court of Stockholm to detain Mr Assange in his absence, suspected of rape, sexual molestation, and unlawful coercion. The reason for my request is that we need to interrogate him. So far, we have not been able to meet with him to accomplish the interrogations', stated Ny's office in an official statement.

The suspicions now cover an alleged rape in Enköping, three (3) cases of sexual molestation in Stockholm and Enköping, and one case of unlawful coercion in Stockholm. Highway patrols report Swedish males already fleeing over the borders in Finland, Denmark, and Norway.

14:00

All is not yet certain. For Ny and her esteemed colleagues must first get the formal stamp of approval from the Stockholm district court where Tomas Norström presided over the trial of The Pirate Bay. The case will be heard at 14:00 local time.

Hurtig Critical Too

Björn Hurtig, not exactly in the news every day of late, responded to the news. 'That shouldn't go as far as an arrest warrant from what I've seen', he said. 'That's a bit thin.'

Thin's the word.
