Getting to Speakers CornerWhat to do if you want to get up on the corner yourself. Read this and know everything.
Content
You may post anything you like. You can even post your resume. Hey it's hard times - any additional traffic to your web site can help.
Addresses & Identities
We recommend you do not include an email address so you do not get spammed. We will keep a running Db on nicks and email addresses in case anyone for any legit reason needs to contact you - in which case we will forward their message and let you decide how you want to handle it.
Using a web address is another good way around it. If you do want your email address published, we will obfuscate it for you with S3.
Proofreading
Spell check everything. Check for readability. Believe it or not, we have a certain standard to maintain, and can't have the Speakers Corner denigrating that standard. We must reserve the right to edit when necessary. If a post will take too much time to 'clean up', we cannot guarantee it will make it online, no matter how good it is. English only, and after that it doesn't matter if it's King's or Colony. But a well-written post is going to make it to the corner a lot easier than one that's poorly written.
