In the past, several people have suggested that we bring up a 'chat'
system, and there is *so much* nonsense in the newsgroups that *ought* to
be just lost in chat, that I've considered it.  But everyone seems to be
all freaked out about the 'security' of IRC and like somehow using IRC
opens you up to all sorts of security and privacy problems.

Obviously ... with my site all focused upon security and privacy, if that
were true -- or even seemed to be true -- that would be a problem.  :(
