Sargon has been a consultant to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, several US telcos, and over one hundred Fortune 50 companies. His team of engineers performed the first-ever network ping from an earth-bound base station to an orbiting spacecraft with the 256-bit TCP/IP extensions today known as Interplanetary Internet Protocol (IIP). He currently heads NASA's Elliptical Curve Cryptography (ECC) group where secure revisions to both the IIP and the more recent Galaxy Gateway Protocol (GGP) will be implemented for communications on the Mars missions.
