Tom:

At one point you'll have to decide if you would like to work with us
on a technical issue or if you want to call every journalist that
comes to your mind. You can't have it both ways if you would like to
have a trusted relationship.

As to the issue with blocked packets. In ZoneAlarm Pro you can allow
or suppress various packets (in Alerts/Advanced). We try very hard
to keep the product from being to noisy. In basic ZoneAlarm these
settings are hard-wired. In addition the firewall (that you allege
we don't have ) normally only generates one alert per connection.
It then remembers the state and drops any additional packets without
alert. Keep in mind, it's a stateful inspection firewall and the
state can be either negative (meaning drop subsequent packets) or
positive (meaning accept subsequent packets).

Also showing every single packets is very CPU intensive and we have
to avoid DoS situations.

We've got the NT issues resolved so expect a new beta this week,
maybe today.

Regards,

Gregor
