Subject: eWeek Reviews of Zone Labs Products
Hello,
I receive your hardcopy magazine. I enjoy that. This week I
received the latest issue with your two reviews of Zone Labs
products.
I know that you are aware of Robin's Firehole - you mention it
in your review of ZoneAlarm Pro 3.0.
But I know you must be aware of TooLeaky, a program similar to
Firehole, which ZoneAlarm Pro 3.0 cannot stop, and which you do
not mention in your review of ZoneAlarm Pro 3.0.
And I know you are aware of who Tom Liston is, as one of your
fellow editors named Tom's LaBrea the most useful application of
2001.
I know then that you must be aware of Tom's discovery of the
enormous breach in ZoneAlarm.

I know as well that you are aware of how Tom finally tired of the
way Zone Labs treated the issue (and him) and went public with it at
both BugTraq and Intrusions.

I know further you must have seen the way the Intrusions editor
reacted to this serious matter.

What I do not know is why you studiously avoided bringing these
matters up.
